MATTS and the RNCM
 

The RNCM main entrance is in Booth Street West. Travelling along Oxford Road from the City Centre (10 minutes walk) the RNCM is on the right-hand side, almost opposite the Manchester 2002 Aquatics Centre. The RNCM is just a short bus ride from MATTS.

MATTS has a special link with the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) which affords many benefits to its students, including:

• Membership of the RNCM Library
• Complimentary tickets for many concerts and shows at the College
• Opportunities for supervised teaching practice with music students
• Opportunities for research on the Alexander Technique and performing musicians
• Student accommodation in modern self-contained students’ apartments in the Sir Charles Groves Hall of Residence, adjacent to the RNCM, may be available to trainees. This accommodation is especially suitable for students from abroad. Details will be sent on request.
